Out here in Houston,TX enjoying the fall weather...about to endure this 5K...sunny, kool, and breezy. Allen Parkway is our destination, (one of Houstons best landscapes). Doing it for the breast.

Been a while...Happy 4th of July!

Been a while...on summer vacation!!! Alright, I'll have to keep you all updated on all the restaurants and wines I indulge in. You know what, I think I'll have to report back today. See again in a little while.

Great Seafood!!!

Found something to pair with my South African white wine. Here we go....Fried jumbo shrimp stuffed with krab meat topped with lobster sauce and accompanied with rice and asparagus and hollandaise sauce
Fresh sea skallops and serrano peppers wrapped with bacon then grilled and served over a spinach puree and topped with lobster tells tequila sauce.

I was looking for something to go with one of my favorite Moscatos from Texas. Dutchman Family wineries make great wines. This is Gulf Shrimp w/ bacon goat cheese grits, greens, and paquillo red peppers.

Santa Barbara Wine Kountry

I went to the Santa Barbara Hills wine vineyards last year for wine tastings, and even an olive oil tasting in a little town amongst the vineyards. It was very enlightening. Thinking of more wine research travel destinations. Any suggestions???
